Celebrating the best of British Family Business

A CANINE hydrotherapy Centre in Beverley is celebrating after their family business was shortlisted for the Family Business of the Year Awards 2020 in Yorkshire Family Business of the Year region. 

Kirsty and Mike Skeates runs Fit4Dogs and was nominated for this prestigious Family Business of the Year Awards (#FBOTY2020)organized by Family Business United wherefrom their network some nominations came from family firms directly and others from their network who nominated their favorites.




Because Fit4dogsuk Canine Hydrotherapy Centre is shortlisted for the regional award and is also eligible for the people’s choice award too, they are now in the running to take the overall Supreme Champion Family Business of the Year Award that was won in 2019 by St Austell Brewery.    The awards recognize the contribution of family firms of all sizes and sectors, the heritage and values behind the businesses and their involvement in the community too.  Size is not a precursor to taking the title.

"All of the shortlisted firms are also in the running for the People's Choice awards where the public have their say in determining the winners."

As well as being Shortlisted for Family Business of the Year Awards 2020 in Yorkshire Family Business of the Year region Fit4dogsuk Caine Hydrotherapy Centre was the winner of the Animal Star Awards, The Best Dog Related Business 2019 and FSB Finalist Start up business of the year 2019.
