Receptionist, Dog Cuddler and Treat Giver.
I'm usually here on a Saturday and School Holidays when I'm not working as a Teaching Assistant. I do a little bit of everything from showering our clients off after their swims, helping around the pool, to admin and reception duties, greeting all clients with a warm welcome.
My favourite part of the job is seeing all your beautiful dogs at the centre and watching their health progress, meeting new people, hearing stories, and of course, giving all our dog clients a good cuddle. It's a bonus being able to do this alongside my parents, Mike and Kirsty - I'm so proud of everything they have achieved here at the centre, and being able to be part of it is fantastic.
Previously, I worked for our first family business teaching children to swim at our swim school, I then went on to open my own swim school and successfully did this for 3 years before changing my career and starting university. I am now currently working in a local Primary School alongside studying in the last year of my Primary Education Teaching Degree, which I absolutely love.
At home, we have a large busy family. I am married with four children ranging from 7-15 years old and spend my extra time watching them play sports. I am essentially a soccer mum. We also have two dogs Troy, an 8-year-old Toy poodle rescue who has amazing bounce, and beautiful curly locks, and Malibu a black and white Lhasa Apso who loves cuddling, playing and teasing Troy. Both dogs enjoy being outdoors but their favourite hobby is snuggling on the sofa with the family.
I love working here at Fit4dogsuk - being able to meet amazing beautiful dogs and seeing them progress is fantastic. I love working with children, but dogs are as much as a pleasure to work with and so will always return each week excited and happy to help. I look forward to seeing all our clients current and new and I always leave my day at the centre with a huge smile on my face.
See you soon! x
